Listening

Pupils should listen to music - a lot.

Start with all the tracks you are learning, find the original version then expand to that whole album and check it out.

HERE is my "beginner jam" playlist - simple tunes that you can jam along with using simple rock beats

Once a pupil has mastered the Songs & Other Elements, then a video can be captured ready for submission to the relevant exam board.

Note: I'm a firm believer in being thorough when preparing candidates for exams, this ensures success and therefore builds confidence. It's not just 'learn the minimum and move on' - that does not build good musicians.
